Largest biofuels event in Europe this year
13th July 2007
This year's Biofuels Conference 2007, to be held in Newark, Nottinghamshire (UK), 17-18 October, includes speakers representing some of the country's leading industry players. Speakers include: Philip New, CEO of BP Fuels; Rupert Furness, Head of RTFO for Department for Transport; Tony Collins, CEO of Virgin Trains; Alan Lovell, CEO of Infinis plc; Graham Prince of D1 Oils plc.
The programme covers keynote speeches and panel discussions on a broad range of topics such as sustainability, 2nd & 3rd generation biofuels, the Road Transportation Fuel Objective, profitability and the controversial 'food vs fuel' debate.
Richard Price, Event Director of Biofuels Media commented: "With the growing importance of renewable fuel production and promotion, this year's Biofuels Conference will be the key event for senior executives in the biofuels market."
The Biofuels Conference runs alongside the Biodiesel-Expo, which is expected to attract more than 4,000 visitors over 17-18 October 2007. With over 100 exhibitors from both the UK and overseas, the Biodiesel-Expo and Biofuels Conference have become the national showcase for all aspects of biofuels. Entry to Biodiesel-Expo 2007 is free to visitors pre-registering before 5 October (after this date entry will be charged at £50) and free for Biofuels Conference delegates.
