Schrick founder passes away

29th June 2007

Dr Peter Schrick, the founder of the Remscheid, Germany based motorsport and automotive engine development company Dr Schrick GmbH, has died at the age of 73.

Schrick founded his company in 1969 after studying mechanical engineering at Stuttgart University and its first projects were high performance camshafts for the motorsport industry.

In 2003 the company became part of the Austrian based AVL group and currently employs 260 staff that work on automotive and motorsport projects including the development and supply of parts and technology for Formula One engine manufacturers.
