Actions for Sustainable Transport: Optimisation across modes (DTI, 1999)
This is the report of the 'Integrated Transportation Chain Futures Task Force' which was set up by the Office for Science and Technology (OST) to look at the future development of transport in the UK and report on likely market opportunities and the technologies needed to deliver them.

CARE
CARE is a collaborative project involving the main UK motor vehicle manufacturers/importers and vehicle dismantlers. It's objective is to research and technically prove materials re-use and recycling processes with a view to reducing the amount of scrapped vehicle waste going to landfill from the disposal of End of Life Vehicles (ELV's).

ECOTEC Research & Consulting Ltd

Global Network of Environment & Technology (GNET)
GNET is in part sponsored by the Global Environmental Technology Enterprise, a U.S. Department of Energy Federal Energy Technology Center initiative. The organisation is dedicated to the promotion and use of technology to achieve environmentally sustainable development.
