Electric car manufacturer plans racing programme

A report in the UK published magazine Autocar says that the California, USA based electric car manufacturer Tesla is planning a racing programme to promote its products.
The Autocar story says that the race programme is likely to be based on the Tesla Roadster which is constructed around a chassis built by the UK car manufacturer Lotus.
