Proposals invited for a panel of 100 motorsport companies

9th October 2006 (Source: Motorsport Development UK )

Motorsport Development UK, the body that promotes and helps develop the UK motorsport sector, is seeking companies to undertake a new project: the creation, management and promotion of a panel of 100 companies, the 'Motorsport 100'. The panel of 100 will include F1 teams, chassis builders, engine and component makers, education providers and the motorcycle and historic racing sectors.

Motorsport Development UK is seeking an organisation that is able (alone or with others) to:

  • Recruit and maintain the Motorsport 100 panel
  • Direct, undertake and analyse the research
  • Translate the findings into ‘media friendly’ material
  • Publish the findings, a Motorsport 100 annual report and maintain a website
  • Secure sponsorship for the project
  • Facilitate business support engagement with the companies on the panel

Full details are available in the official Motorsport Development UK 'Invitation to Tender' document, available to download here or on the Motorsport Development UK website. The deadline for submission of pre-qualification questionnaires is 30 October 2006.

Meanwhile, any motorsport and associated companies wishing to be considered as members of the 'Motorsport 100' are welcome to register their interest. Please e-mail with your details and these will be submitted to the programme manager for consideration. Membership will bring promotional and networking opportunities in return for completing a quarterly questionnaire.
