This month we are featuring a site dedicated to providing information on clean motoring. The clean green cars site aims to provide clear, easily understood advice about choosing and using cars in a more environmentally considerate way.

The site is easy to navigate, and provides useful information as well as a 'jargon buster' section helping you to understand some of the terms used in the eco-friendly motor industry. The site also includes a news section, keeping you up to date on the latest green news as well as a 'manufacturer watch' which keeps an eye on what the manufacturers are doing to provide more sustainable vehicles.

April 2007 : Tesla Motors

http://www.teslamotors.com

The Tesla Roadster is an all electric car that is high performance and energy efficient, which could well be giving us an insight into the cars of the not so distant future. The car has also been winning praise from distinguished sources such as winning the best transportation invention in the Time magazine best invention awards 2006.

The website has a stylish look to it, and gives you great views of the car both inside and out. You'll also find plenty of technical information and should you be suitably impressed there's even the option to order one online.

March 2007 : My Earth Dream

http://www.myearthdream.com/

my earth dream

My Earth Dream is a slick flash-driven website which highlights Honda F1's decision to remove all corporate sponsorship from its cars, and replace them with an image of the world. Its intention is to raise awareness of environmental issues and to encourage people everywhere to make a difference to the world around them.

The site lets you become a part of the cars livery by making a pledge. Your name and pledge then makes up a very small part of the cars artwork, which as they put it is: "small things coming together to make big things happen."
